About Perisher

Perisher Blue has four resorts in one, Perisher, Smiggins, Blue Cow and Guthega, making it Australia's largest resort, with an exhilarating 1245 hectares of skiable terrain.

Located high in the mountains of Kosciuszko National Park some 30 minutes drive from Jindabyne and also accessible via the skitube, Australia's first underground rack railway. More terrain at higher altitudes - base elevation is 1720m - means that here are found the most reliable snow conditions, with over $3.6 million being invested in 2007 for additional snowmaking improvements at Blue Cow and perisher. Ski or board between the different mountains villages via a vast network of 50 lifts, or enjoy a slower pace in one of the beginner areas at Smiggins or Blue Cow.

There is a range of slopes to suit all standards. Tube Town is great for the young and young at heart and new for 2006 you will be able to enjoy all the action at night due to our newly upgraded lighting system.

Perisher Blue is introducing Green Power in 2007. The Village 8 Express will operate totally on green energy during winter in an effort to contribute to a cleaner greener future. Within the resort villages you will find supermarkets, shops, a chemist, newsagency, restaurants and bars.
